One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after:
that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life,
to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to inquire in his temple."

Psalm 27:4
"The LORD is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear:
the LORD is the strength of my life,  of whom shall I be afraid?"
Psalm 27:1
"Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread?
and your labour for that which satisfieth not?
hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good,
and let your soul delight itself in fatness."

Isaiah 55:2
"A person's life will be lived in the light of the treasure he is seeking."

".. Why herein is a marvelous thing, that ye know not from whence he is, and yet he hath opened my eyes."

John 30:9

Early Summer

"Come and hear, all ye that fear God,
and I will declare what he hath done for my soul."

"Let my mouth be filled with thy praise and with thy honour all the day. Psalm 71:8

"Thou O God, didst send a plentiful rain,
whereby thou didst confirm thy inheritance, when it was weary.
...thou, O God, hast prepared of thy goodness for the poor."
Psalm 68:9,10

"He brought me forth also into a large place:
he delivered me, because he delighted in me...
For who is God save the LORD?
or who is a rock save our God?
It is God that girdeth me with strength,
and maketh my way perfect."
Psalm 18:19, 32,33

Trip to Savannah, Georgia

A cute kitty watching us pass on the street.

Beautiful clipped clinging vine.

Stairway to front entry.

Fernlife

We stayed here on West Jackson.  Mrs. Wilkes Boarding House, the dining room is on the ground floor of our building.  It's open daily from 11-2.  You can see the people lined up to get in before it opens.

The food at Mrs. Wilkes Boarding House is classic Southern style.  It was very, very good!

We so enjoyed our stay in Savannah.  It is a city in which you walk.  No particular destination- just walk!

Impatien: Taken In Savannah, Georgia

Dave and I recently spent a few days in  the coastal city of Savannah, Georgia.  We stayed in the northern historic area of the city and delighted in going back in time, as far as our surroundings were concerned.
Savannah was similar to Charleston, as far as climate and vegetation goes.  But it has its own identity and has its own unique history and style.

"For thou hast delivered my soul from death:
wilt not thou deliver my feet from falling....?"

I'll be posting a few more pictures of our trip.
